Linky First

Jason Henriques (born 1991), known professionally as Linky First, Linky Da First, or Linky. He is a Jamaican soca & dancehall singer and songwriter.[1] He was born in St Catherine, Jamaica.[2] In 2016 he released his first soca single called “Rock And Come In” which became a major hit song in the Caribbean and North-America.[3][4][5] In 2017 he became the first Jamaican to make the final of Trinidad & Tobago’s Soca Monarch competition.[6][7] It is also known that “Rock And Come In” is the most played soca song of 2017. His song “Rock And Come In” has created history in soca music, in January 2018 The song “Rock And Come In” became the first soca song in this decade that reached over more than 10 million views on Youtube.[8] In 2018 Linky First released a official music video of “Rock And Come In” which in no-time reached the 1 million views on Youtube.[9] The instrumental of “Rock And Come In” named the “Liming Riddim”, was created by a producer from the Netherlands named Riddim & Vibez.[10] Linky first performed with famous artists like Machel Montano, Beenie Man, Alison Hinds & Busy Signal.[11][12] The famous rapper Drake also attended his and Machel Montano performance on the Caribana festival 2017 in Toronto.[13]
